always retrospective.

blir lite mindre privat.
2. sillamiddag i vårt forna hem.
3. mensch - ärgere dich nicht! tyskt fiaspel på café liebling.

slowness is a large part of analog photography. the lack of immediacy. a frame secretly
saved on a negative. an image kept in the mind, that much later turns out to be something
totally different on the photo in my hand. with blogging, it is quite the opposite. it is
immediate. the possibility to directly publish a new formulated thought is embedded in the
format. these media collide for me sometimes, analog photo + blog. images can be months
old, but the words are often recently put together. i'm afraid that the texts become more
descriptive than present. here are for example some rainy old images from oslo, and what is
happening these weeks remain secret for a while... maybe it is nice this way, the blog
becomes a little less private. a constant retrospective. however, since i switched to analog
photography this has been the case. for better or worse. right now i'm far from oslo, but the
pictures are still there:
1. jonas on aamodt bridge.
2. herring dinner in our former home.
3. mensch - ärgere dich nicht! german ludo at cafe liebling.

  2. Analog photos have something that digital will never have, I don't know what it is. They have nostalgia written all over them, even if they're brand new.

maria - i could not agree more. it is interesting how quick it changes... just ten years ago this was not the case.

  4. I love that you've switched to analog Maja!

I'm 100% analog unless it's for my blog or documenting my artwork. I hope that one day I can be patient enough to just go with analog only for blogging.

  5. Nydelige bilder og sanne ord. Morsomt å treffe nok en analog foto entusiast!
